Thanks Republicans

Thanks for tossing your principles out the window.  For leaving your Conservative roots.   For getting drunk on Washington power and compromising with Liberals.  For trying to be the medias friend.  For refusing to veto any sort of pork bill.  For forgetting what put you in the majority in the first place.  For being Republicans in name only.

Thank you.  You deserve this loss.  See you in eight years.

You forgot “for forcing your nominee to be someone he is not.”

McCain used to be a good guy. He should have been the Republican nominee in 2000. The GOP forced him to choose a woman with Wikipedia level knowledge as his running mate because she looked decent on camera. They made him fight dirty and try to scare people into voting for him. His speech last night was phenomenal; if the John McCain of November 4th was the same as the John McCain of the election season, he might have actually won. Or at least made the race a little closer…

This 8 years will be good for the GOP. It will give them time to regroup and find a great candidate for 2016.

“Fight Dirty”? I wish he had. He is not a Conservative. Far from it. Neither is Bush. Neither is just about every Republican up on the Hill. It’s really pathetic.

Dill….”eight years?” That is being optimistic don’t you think? I am still amazed that people about the whole tax cut crap…he already said that he will let the Bush tax cuts expire! That IS raising taxes right there! I think once people realize that they are not getting that child tax credit they are not going to be so happy! Such a shame. I agree with Roland in that the Rep. need to get their act together…maybe we have to go through “fire” to be refined?

Ava, I fully expect Obama to be an eight year President unless something major happens. With what the stock market did yesterday though, who knows.
