For the slow folks out there, he is, in essence, comparing Obama to Jesus and Sarah Palin to Pilate.

out of curiosity, what does abortion have to do with anything? it is a topic that should be addressed, certainly, but what on earth does it have to do with whether or not jesus was a community organizer?
that said, the quoted comment is absurd. even if you think obama is an upstanding citizen and the best possible candidate, what he does (what any senator does) and what jesus did are totally different. the comparison was absurd, and if the intent was to help obama, well…all it did was make representative cohen look a little less than all there. but then, what can you expect from a tennessee democrat? (TOTALLY kidding. i was actually born in tn and lived there until i was almost 30.)
