Looks like the Obama campaign prefers lame, easy, softball questions that never really address anything rather than hard hitting questions that get to the point and demand an answer.  Check this out.  After Biden was asked some pretty direct questions the campaign cancelled the scheduled interview with his wife:

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

Nice.  What’s wrong with the Democrats?  Why do they run away like scared deer whenever reporters actually ask good questions?  Why do they cower in the corner when Fox News shows up?  The reason is that they know that if they have to actually answer questions like these they would lose in a huge landslide.  The ONLY way they can win any election is by lying, cheating and avoiding the real questions and issues.

We here on the staff call for a moratorium on any more biased, softball questions from the media to Democratic candidates.  Yeah, I know…hell will freeze over first but hey, it’s worth a try!

It’s ridiculous to pretend that softball questions aren’t preferred by both sides and that behavior like this is typical of Democrats but not Republicans. Your credibility as a fair observer suffers when you do.

Here is the problem…Republicans get the hardball questions, Democrats get the softballs. I know Republicans enjoy getting easy ones. Who doesn’t. However, they are few and far between compared to Democrats.

Plus, it is one thing to prefer something and quite another to demand it.

By the way, concerning your links, on the first one, I would love to see CNN ask Obama the same sort of questions. Instead, they investigate Joe the Plumber ten times as much as they do Bill Ayers or Tony Rezko. Also, I love the old 2nd link. Palin has had more access to the press than Obama or Biden in the past month.

I don’t understand the argument of Palin not having enough experience or foreign policy experience to be the vice-president. Obama has made ONE trip to Iraq and now he has all the foreign policy experience in the world to run this country? Why aren’t they asking the same question about Obama and his foreign policy experience? They criticize her of her decisions in Alaska, but at the same time the democrats will put someone in the Whitehouse that during his time in the Senate made NO decisions. Can the media be any more one sided than this?

  4. Roland Says:

I don’t really mind the garbage digging for information on Palin or the questions they ask her. Just do the same for the Democrats.
