Another idea: Link to the “words that must be banned from the Queen’s English” site (whatever the URL is) and read the words and phrases there.
My nomination is for a moratorium on the word “basically”.

BTW, my father used to be a teacher and the year before he died, he said that it was “getting pretty bad”.
